Why study languages?
Language studies are taught by the Faculty of Education and Language Studies. This is an exciting multi-disciplinary faculty with a reputation for innovation and flexibility. The faculty strives to make its studies relevant to the professional world.
In recent years the faculty had almost 30,000 registered students annually, around half of whom were studying languages, linguistics and English language.
In today’s global economy, a languages degree is widely perceived as an asset that will set you apart in any professional sector. Being fluent in a language opens up global opportunities, too.
